periodically raked, rolled and re-sanded, in
order to smooth out the layers of sand that hold
up all but the tips of their turfs. Mirage turf
fibers have been manufactured to stand-up
naturally. The constant maintenance required of
deep-sand turf products is both expensive and
inconvenient.
